        IV. Other Applications

        The Si3N4 powder is not only late-model refractory material，but also as new-type material in modern industry widely applied to engineering ceramics, electronic industry, spaceflight, aviation and naval ships of martial field, delivery gate of puddle furnace, acid resistance industry and alkali proof industry. For instance：
        (1) Through mingling this product with other materials，it can work effective action of agglomeration activation，corrosion resistance and anti-disintegration，so this product can be used for making highly etching resistant products.
        (2) By mingling this material and other materials， applying it into furnace body or electric cookers can envelop the mouth of blast furnace more stably，and more easily to be exscinded.
        (3) Using this product as azote additive，this products in powder state contains high nitrogen ingredient of high performance，so it can used as a fine azote additive.

        V. Chemical Properties

        This product usually begins to be oxidized when above 1000 Celsius degrees，simultaneously a oxide film comes into being. The film immediately holds back actions of oxidation. When below 1700 Celsius degrees，its periphery can not gradually be softened to deoxidize：under acid conditions，it is highly corrosion resistant. When less than 500 Celsius degrees, it is highly alkali resistant.
